About me

I'm an independent editor and writer with more than 30 years of experience working for businesses, newspapers, magazines and websites. I've served as a technical writer and editor for numerous companies on multibillion-dollar government contracts. I've been an award-winning editor and writer at the Herald-Tribune in Sarasota, Fla., and The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Va., among other newspapers. 

Recent projects include writing and editing past performance descriptions and resumes for major U.S. Department of Energy and NASA proposal bids, editing dissertations for doctoral students, preparing a case study and annual report summaries for the African Wildlife Foundation, editing a book for a corporate adviser, proofreading newsletters for a Washington D.C. consulting firm, editing academic article submissions, drafting a strategic plan for a Detroit auto engineering firm, proofreading brochures and a website for a Florida marketing firm, and writing features for Leader's Edge magazine, a publication of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
